Kailash Kher (Kailasa) – Joban Chhalke October 20, 2009

This track is on Kailash Kher’s band Kailasa’s latest CD, “Yatra (Nomadic Souls).” I found it rather playful.  I couldn’t find the official lyrics online so I have tried to write them out myself.

Enjoy! (and please let me know if I have any errors)

Ban than ke gora kahan chali?

Vaara maare aise jor
Moonh ki khaavein sadhu chor
Bijli si kadke ghanghor,
Bhittar bhittar vaale por
Kaise, chaloon mein to tikhad tikhad ke

Ho joban chhalke, joban chhalke

Are banthan wali mane kiye
Ke leri jhodi mein

Bhaari bhaari achraj paas pados karein gharane mein
Are court kachehri band pad gaye
Bhaggi pardh gai thane mein
Are-re-re-re-re

Uppar uppar ka hai shor
Bhittar bhittar hein sab chor
Saare ke saare moonh zor
Baaton ka koi aur na jhor
Jee mein mukute ye badadh badadh ke
Ho joban chhalke, joban chhalke

Chaandan raat mein peesan baithi kid kid daant bajaon jo
Nas nas meri kas kas jaave par bas dar dar jaaon jo
Are-re-re-re-re

Kaise maare vo kilkor
Mastave saavan ki dor
Joban hai paavan chitchor
Dhak dhak jee mein uthe hilor
Sab ka dil jaave pighad pighad ke

Aey re gora gorari, aey re gora!
Ban than ke gora kahan chali?

Music in the new iPod Touch Commercial by Nick Haley October 31, 2007

The track is “Music Is My Hot, Hot Sex” by CSS (Cansei de Ser Sexy). The original commercial was created by Nick Haley, an 18 year old English student at the University of Leeds. Apple’s broadcast version remains very true to the original.

The lyrics used in the commercial are:

Music is my boyfriend
Music is my girlfriend
Music is my dead end
Music’s my imaginary friend
Music is my kingsize bed
Music’s where I meet my friends
Music is my hot hot bath
My music is where i’d like you to touch
