Passed the U.S. Citizenship Test January 27, 2010
Posted by atharkhan in : Personal , trackbackThis morning, I passed the Civics Test administered by the U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services, and will be sworn in as a U.S. citizen next week.
Thanks to Denise for helping me file the application, study for the test, organize the paperwork, and for taking me out to lunch after the test.
Also, a special thanks to my seven year old nephew who gave me an extensive lesson on the civil war.

Congrats!! Was it harder than the bar?
Congratulations!!!!
Thanks all!@April: I think he definitely gets a bonus. I'll see if I can record his analysis of the Dred Scott case, and the economies of the South and the North, and upload it to FaceBook or YouTube.
I took mine the day before my Constitutional Law final which was quite fun. Are you getting sworn in at one of the big ceremonies or will you be poshing it up with a judge?
what !! you weren't already a us citizen? you mean I've been working for a foreigner? well, then congratulations!
Congratulations! Of course, after passing the patent bar the citizenship test probably felt like a cake walk.
Congratulations!!!
Congratulations, Athar!
CONGRATS!
Wow — that fresh Constitutional Law knowledge must have been helpful.
I’ll be getting sworn in at a mass ceremony. Not sure how big it will be.
I’m not well connected enough to be sworn in personally by a judge
