Finally saw L.A. & Hollywood January 4, 2010
Posted by atharkhan in : Personal , trackbackA couple of friends offered to show us around Hollywood and Los Angeles. The “tour” took about 3 hours and started out with a drive through the UCLA campus which was definitely the highlight for me. Then, we hit the major tourist attractions — Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, the Walk of Fame, the Hollywood sign, etc. A lot of street performers were out dressed up as various characters — from Snoopy to Michael Jackson. As cheesy as they were, the street performers definitely add character to the area. We ended our day with a great sushi dinner at Yamashiro Restaurant. It was a stunningly beautiful day and we had a fantastic time.
So now, I can no longer say “I lived in California for almost 10 years and never went to L.A & Hollywood.”
