Posted by atharkhan in : Personal , trackbackThe first “material possession” to go was the Toyota Scion tC. We (i.e. the wife and I) took it to Carmax and handed it over at a “wholesale” rate. At least we’re not paying for parking and insurance on it now. I have a feeling the other car will soon find its way to Carmax as well.
We also got around to selling our first item on Craigslist. Some lucky person walked away with our TV for $35. It was a CRT so only two or three people had expressed interest in it. Although the TV was relatively outdated, I have to say that it felt bad to be selling it at such a low price. I had bought it in 2003 for about $300. So, to offset the “seller’s remorse” we have decided to pay down the principal on our mortgage with all proceeds.
