Hectic Days & Unpleasant Surprises August 5, 2008
Posted by atharkhan in : Personal , trackbackNo sooner did the bar end (on July 31st) that I had to jump on other pressing tasks. Packing, meeting the in-laws (for the first time), moving, and traveling overseas.
There were several unpleasant surprises (a tax penalty!) along the way too. Then, while waiting to board my flight on Monday, I was told that the place that I was supposed to stay at in Chicago is no longer available. So now, during the wedding, I will have to make arrangements for where my belongings will be delivered to, changing mail forwarding again, and other unnecessary hassles.
Still, the fact that I am getting married to my best friend makes me smile and think that somehow things will come together just fine. Things always do
