No, I am not going to get the new iPhone… June 10, 2008

Just about anyone who knows me and my unhealthy consumerism has already asked so here goes: I am not buying the new iPhone and here’s why:
1) I’ve been disappointed by the price reduction once and I am not going to spend money on a toy that will be obsolete by thanksgiving
2) My current one works perfectly fine so there is no need to replace it
3) Given that I am (supposed to be) studying for the bar, its a good thing that its EDGE-based rather than 3G! The faster it works, the more time I will spend on it and
4) I don’t really use GPS (although I can definitely see how applications could be richer with location information).
It’s strange but I just don’t feel the urge/need to get it. I am pretty happy with the current one. But if you (especially you, Apa!) want to buy me one as a graduation present… 
CA Bar Prep – Day 22 June 10, 2008
Posted by atharkhan in : CA Bar Prep, Personal , add a commentPrepared for Civil Procedure in the morning. Listened to 2 hours of lectures on the way to/from class. Finished entering out the ~10 evidence cards and entered all 51 civil procedure cards into S/M.
Didn’t do any MBEs or Essays today. Will have to get back on that tomorrow morning.
Total study time: 1.5D + 3C + 3S = 7.5 Hrs.
