Yes, I *KNOW* about “10mph” — the Segway Movie! May 30, 2007
Posted by atharkhan in : Personal , trackbackIt’s only 10 AM on the West Coast and already 3 friends have emailed me a link to the documentary “10mph” (www.10mph.com) which is about a couple of guys who quit their job to go from Boston to Seattle on their Segways.
This is my friends’ way of ridiculing my impulsive purchase of a Segway almost 2 years ago when I passed my first year of law school. Since then, anything about the Segway — including Weird Al’s “White & Nerdy” to a Product Recall notice finds its way into my email inbox.
While I am on the topic, let me just concede that a Segway is about the most impractical purchase one could make. However, as “goofy looking” as it may be, it is still a fun toy and great icebreaker. There hasn’t been a single time when I went out on my Segway and someone didn’t approach me to bum a free ride. So there!
