Walking the Neighborhood May 28, 2007
Posted by atharkhan in : Chicago, Personal , trackbackMoved into my own place today right off Division street. It’s smack in the middle of Cabrini Green which has changed quite a bit in the 7 years that I have been away from Chicago. After moving in, I decided to walk the neighborhood to get my bearings. So, I went down to Wells and up through Old Town. Had lunch at Old Jerusalem. It was a surreal experience to be back at one of my favorite places after all these years. On the way home, I stopped (okay ate!) at Sammy’s Red Hots. Where else can you get greasy fries, a Chicago dog with everything and a diet coke for two bucks? Good times!
So… all in all, a beautiful Chicago day with awesome Chicago food. Ahhh… life is good :-)
