Patent Bar Prep - Day 24 January 15, 2007
Posted by atharkhan in : Patent Bar Prep , trackbackGot through Chapter 8. When I say “got through,” I mean… with a very low accuracy rate. I thought my “bright” idea of skimming the material before taking the practice questions would be sufficient. Chapter 8 taught me that it was not enough. Too passive. So, for Chapter 9, first I reviewed the materials. Then, as I went along taking the questions, I would write down the basic rule as stated in the correct answer. This seemed to help quite a bit because I did really well and it also kept me awake longer than average. Usually, about 20 questions (which translates to about an hour and a half) into it, I start drifting. Not today. I did almost 100 and with a very respectable accuracy rate. And, I ended up with about 3 pages of material which will probably be useful at some point to review — maybe the weekend I am freaking out about the exam.
The weekend was not as productive as it could have been — but I did do a few loads of laundry, expunged 3 Gb of irritating noise (that’s what I call music that has fallen out of favor with me) out of my iTunes library and obsessed about pointless stuff I have no control over. As I always say, everyone’s life can’t be this glamorous. It takes a lot of work to get here.
Now that I have put in 4 straight hours of TV Viewing time into “House,” it’s time to call it a night and ponder whether I will go to medical school or not.
