I am looking to delete pictures that are truly identical. So, in some respect this would be the same as any other file duplicate remover.
I am trying out a couple of software apps specifically designed for deleting duplicate pictures (in that they do some analysis of what the picture looks like rather than simply comparing CRCs based on file names and dates.)
VisiPics seems to do a fairly decent job but its difficult to find file names because you have to “hover” your mouse over each image. Still it was free and seems to work. If you know of anything better, that will help.
