Another Perfect Day October 8, 2006
Posted by atharkhan in : Law School, Personal , add a commentSaturday was another perfect day.
The temperature was about 70°F with a crisp cool breeze and warm sunshine. I had a great breakfast (from Bruegger’s Bagels) with a friend who seems to enjoy my silly jokes. Then we started working on our “Complaint” for our Professional Skills (Legal Writing II) class.
After a few hours, we took a break and went for lunch at Zankou which actually lived up to the hype. Then we had some baklava and cappuccino at a little bakery right next door.
Over cappuccino, we swapped stories about the idiosyncrasies of our respective families. I think I won that contest because we were both laughing uncontrollably over the one about the robbers who stole my family’s satellite TV receiver.
The sugar rush helped with the complaint because within the next two hours we had extracted all pertinent facts for the alleged cause of action.
I came home and went for a bike ride under a bright, full moon. Then I refined some of the arguments in the Complaint and added some statutory authority.
I just turned it in about 10 minutes ago and will now go and get some well deserved sleep.
