Posted by atharkhan in : Personal , add a commentQuick update. Seems like mom is doing fine after the first Chemo. Based on what I know, the first one is usually not too bad. Apparently, things start getting bad after the third session.

Posted by atharkhan in : Personal, Photography , add a commentWent to see Gregory Colbert’s “Ashes and Snow” exhibit at the Santa Monica Pier. Check out the website at www.ashesandsnow.com. Took about two and a half hours to get into the exhibit but it was definitely worth it. They had rows of large format pictures and three screens playing sections from the Ashes and Snow DVD. The sound and lighting added to the experience creating a lasting impact. I would recommend going to see it if you can.

Good News … and then there’s life May 12, 2006
Posted by atharkhan in : Personal , add a commentWhat? Give you the good news first? Okay. I am now officially halfway done with law school. Which makes me a… ahem… 3L. Hear that? 3L!
Right… The “life” part. Well, as I was walking out of my last exam, my mom was going in for her first of several Chemotherapy sessions. She’s been handling it exceptionally well. I don’t know just yet how she is feeling after it. Will call her tonight to find out.
