Followup Post: Buffalo Tech Nfiniti Wireless (WZR-G300N) prevents access to Google.com May 30, 2006

I checked with Buffalo again today. Here is the response I got:

We have not been provided with an ETA at this time. I would imagine it will be available sometime in the next month or so.

Apparently, a MONTH is an acceptable timeframe for people to go without being able to get to google.com. Last week, when I had contacted their tech support, they told me that the firmware would be available within a week.

Will keep you posted.

Bongo Room May 27, 2006

Headed off to the Bongo Room this morning. I went to the Wabash Location (instead of Wicker Park) so there wasnt much to photograph. It might have been a bit too awkward to pull out a macro lens to take pictures of food so I decided not to. Apparently, other people weren’t as shy about it. Next stop (yes, the same day… right after Johnnie’s Beef) Harold’s Chicken Shack. Man, this is just the most indulgent fried chicken you can get just about anywhere.

We got a bucket of fried chicken, a few sodas and headed off to Buckingham Fountain.
