T minus 9 Days, 4 Hours, 24 Minutes … November 27, 2005

I am giving up on IP Litigation. I don’t think I am going to make a meaningful impact by going at it for the fourth consecutive day. This reminds me of the Kenpo test where I got kicked in the groin by a US Marshall (who was a Black Belt) in the first second of the fight. I felt like I was playing lead in the Nutcracker.

The sad part is that IP Litigation is by far my favorite class and I am probably going to do the worst on this one. Well… maybe Constitutional Law will give it a good run for its money. It’s a tie between those two. I wonder which one will be worse? Oh! Wait, the Property class is being taught by a Prof who has consistently ranked me at a C- and the Civil Procedure class is like trying to channel the nuclear fission-like dispersion of rules into the focused order and sequence of a laser beam *sigh*

So I guess I can’t really predict which class will be worse than others. I wonder which one of these thoroughbred Arabians will win the Kentucky Derby this time. Only in my case, they are more like half-bred jackasses in a demolition derby and I am on one of these fine animals without a helmet.

It’s amusing how a semester starts out so well (a la “new year resolutions”) and by the end of the term, you’re hoping to not be in the bottom twenty percent. Lowered expectations. That’s the key to happiness isn’t it?

Okay that’s enough therapeutic/cathartic rambling. On to more pressing matters aka Real Property, Constitutional Law and Civil Procedure.

Until next time…
