Man… this was undoubtedly the BEST comic book movie ever made. It was tons of fun. I didnt wait till Monday, I watched it last Friday with a friend. It was SO good that I am going to go watch it again with another friend this Friday on an IMAX Screen.

Wow… that was done right! They got the character right… they got the voice right… it was just perfect!

It was a dark and stormy knight… June 17, 2005

I have been waiting for a new Dark Knight (aka Batman) movie for a while. Batman Begins seems extremely well done. I am going to go see it on Monday. Waiting for the weekend to pass so all the fan(atic)s are done with the movie. Those guys do add to the experience but are also distracting.

Take Star Wars for example. There were a couple guys behind me who were completely into it. One of them was crying when Anakin went to the dark side. The other was consoling him. “Well, you know they come back and win!!” he says… sheesh. In any case, the guy who was crying was so distraught he had to leave the theatre for a few minutes.

Now, with Batman, there were a bunch of guys dressed up as Batman characters…. which basically told me to stay away for now. I guess I will be patient and go on Monday.

Man… its late and I am just rambling.

The Amazing Curta Calculator June 12, 2005

I have a severe migraine and I cant concentrate on the 200+ pages I need to read for Patent Law. So, obviously, I turn to my beloved Internet for some new quirky find. I started searching for some unique patents and came across this marvellous invention called a Curta Calculator. Until now, I had only heard of the Slide Rule and some other mechanical calcuclators but this one takes the cake. To check out some Ebay auctions for Curta Calculators, Click Here.

Amazing arent they? Whats even more amazing is that it was invented by a Curt Herzstark while he was a prisoner at a Nazi concentration camp. Apparently, the ONLY reason he survived this ordeal was because the Nazis recognized his genius and wanted to present the finished item to Hitler as a gift.
