Perspective….Hello!? June 28, 2005
Posted by atharkhan in : Humor, Personal , trackbackI went to see a really good friend from work at the hospital today and spent a few hours with him.
The guy is such a wuss and really has no perspective! I mean, all he went through was a burst Appendix …. He was in some sort of “pain” for two days and then went to the emergency room where they put him under anesthesia for a few hours, made a few surgical incisions and removed it. After that a few stitches… maybe 20?… and he was done with it.
Big Deal! I on the other hand went through something MUCH more traumatic, painful and permanent– I got a traffic ticket! The Police Officer didn’t give me any drugs before writing the ticket! I had to take it straight!
His surgery scars will heal and he will be up and about in no time. My car insurance will suck my blood for this one for the rest of my life.
You hear that man? It could have been worse! You could have been issued a traffic citation. Now, quit your whining you big baby and get on with it. At least you’re saving on car insurance.

I like your analogy Athar. An interesting perspective, in my humble opinion. When are you going to start doing some stand up?
